ALEX WRIGHT
Senior Physiotherapist
Alex joined the Absolute team in 2019 after relocating from the Albury–Wodonga region and brings extensive experience across musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, managing everything from everyday injuries to high-level sporting demands.
Alongside his clinical work, Alex has been involved in a range of performance-focused sporting environments, including National Tennis competitions, the Murray Bushrangers Football Club, World Athletics Championships, and the Basketball Victoria State Development Program. He is currently a physiotherapist with Gippsland Power (Coates Talent League) and the Gippsland Stars (Victorian Netball League), maintaining close exposure to structured, high-performance training and rehabilitation standards.
Alex also has experience in concussion assessment and management, applying evidence-based decision-making to support safe and appropriate return to play. His broader approach focuses on accurate diagnosis, structured rehab progression, and ensuring athletes are genuinely prepared for the physical demands of competition.
Outside the clinic, Alex can usually be found sampling local coffee spots or on the golf course working on his short game.
